The Power of WordsSword in the mouth

by Penny M

In a world of horrors, created by men with no ‘hearts’, those still blessed with functioning minds cry  for those that lost their heads and more to the evil that lurks behind innocent faces. Justice is sought, but there is none; for no man can give it.

Thinkers worship creation. Yet, when the earth swallows human flesh and spews forth fire from the hell hole within, Mother Nature bears no blame. Those who claim ‘there is no God’ still focus their curses on the one who created the ground they walk on and the air they breathe. It wasn’t Mother.

As creation waits to see Words, sword and dragonif nuclear warfare will be unleashed in futile attempts to control destinies of nations, man has forgotten the creative power in the sword of the tongue they write with.

Dangers of Online Estate Planning

There are limits to what technology should be allowed to do for you. Sometimes free is not fair. Death calls for careful planning. Consult a professional who cares. See my services tab for more details.

Northern California Center for Estate Planning and Elder Law

The Internet is full of websites that sell downloads and worksheets that will produce generic legal documents. They offer legal documents of all kinds, including things like wills and trusts. Can anyone with a computer create an effective estate plan using DIY tools that are being offered online? Consumer Reports Study The highly respected magazine Consumer Reports was wondering about this question back in 2012. They decided to find an answer. Consumer Reports staffers went online, and they identified three of the most popular purveyors of do-it-yourself legal documents. They created last wills using downloads and worksheets that they got from these three websites. Three prominent legal professors were engaged to examine these do-it-yourself last wills. They came away with some rather telling criticisms. Ultimately, they said that unintended negative consequences could come about if the average layperson was to use one of these do-it-yourself (DIY) solutions to create a last will.

Did somebody say Cheese?

Shoppers Unite and communicate your rights!

The Scribbling Scribes

by Penny M

Yes, anything from a grimace to a grin will do as long as features are misplaced for a few seconds, minutes, or more, or more … Fortunately cameras are much faster these days for all except group photos.

Cheese no longer makes me smile. The cost has climbed into the eaves of every food store I know.

It’s a festive season, I think, a thought that no longer brings excitement. Have you noticed how the price of many basic necessities climbs towards December (or any holiday for that matter)? In fact, retailers can’t wait to order and display fresh stocks with price hikes from October onwards. Do they think we don’t notice?

People splurge to buy things they might not normally buy throughout the year. This is because it’s traditionally the season of giving, in celebration of the greatest gift of all.??????

But cheese?
